TWO YOUNGSTERS OF KWAMHLANGA SELECTED IN TS GALAXY TRIALS
The Rockets U15 and U19 trials took place over 23 and 24 March 2022 at the Kwamhlanga Stadium, Mpumalanga.
Young, upcoming future football stars played it off with the hopes of being be selected in the young talent trails, hosted by the TS Galaxy Football Club. The talent trials yielded two upcoming football stars from Kwamhlanga who has their eyes set on a professional football career.
The Mpumalanga Press team would like to congratulate Mr. Saai Mahlangu (Publisher of Mpumalanga Press), his son Samkelo Mahlangu is one of the two players selected!
The TS Galaxy Football Club, also known as “THE ROCKETS” was formed in 2015 by Tim Sukazi (TS). Although the football club is based in Sandton, their home ground is the iconic Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
The Rockets’ claim to fame was in their maiden season in the Glad Africa Championship when they lifted the 2019 Nedbank Cup, defying the odds after battling it out with the famous Kaizer Chiefs.
