Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Vusi Shongwe, and MEC for Public Works, Roads and Transport, Ms. Mohita Latchminarain will visit the families of the six victims of the bus accident that happened on Friday, 21 May 2021.
The two MECs will be joined by Gauteng MEC for Public Transport and Roads Infrastructure, Jacob Mamabolo.  The six perished when the bus they were traveling in caught fire while on Moloto Road from Pretoria to Tweefontein. The six were burnt beyond recognition.
Four passengers are still being treated in various hospitals in Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
