Malema STOP wearing shoes that aint yours!!! Focus on the service delivery as PROMISED
Despite being judged on his latest actions by the Department of Employment and Labour, for to perform inspections on restaurants in Gauteng, the EFF under the watchful eye of the one and only Julius Malema has shifted the “official oversight” visits to Mpumalanga.
Being a member of Parliament, does not give someone the right to do “official oversight”! Malema should stop the ‘official oversight’ Labour visits and should start building the RDP Houses in Sandton as he suggested in his 2021 election campaigns.
Commissar Rebecca Mohlala together with regional secretary of Nkangala Jackson Malatjie and 12 Cllrs of Thembisile Hani Municipality visited the Sunny Cash and Carry in KwaMhlanga, Themisile Hani Local Municipality as part of program of verification of employees foreign nationals verses South Africans on 19 January 2022. Out of 35 workers, only 8 are locals. Sunny Cash and Carry has been given “an ultimatum to fix their mess in 14 days”, Mohhlala tweeted.
DA shadow minister of employment and labour Michael Cardo said the EFF engagements were “a desperate exercise in xenophobic, political grandstanding masquerading as legislative oversight”. Holding business owners accountable for employment ratios, may just be that! Cardo blames the ANC for their contributions to in conducting a xenophobic environment.
“Frankly, the ANC is complicit in creating a culture conducive to xenophobia by continually targeting and scapegoating foreign nationals in the workplace. The ruling party should distance itself from the EFF’s theatrics and lay down the law on political parties acting as labour inspectors and trade unions,” said Cardo.
It seems Julius and the EFF will be the subject of much controversy in 2022!
