Police in Bushbuckridge request members of the public to assist locate 68 -year-old Popi Tryphina Nyakane, who went missing on Saturday, 06 August 2022.

According to the information, Nyakane, who is a mental health patient, left home on the said day after informing her husband that she was going to attend a relative’s celebratory gathering at Thabakgolo Trust. She has not returned home since. Her family reported her missing today, 11 August 2022 at Bushbuckridge SAPS.

Nyakane was wearing a blue work suit top, black boots, and had wrapped an African print cloth around her lower body as well as her head.

Police urge anyone with information that will assist in reuniting her with her family to contact Detective Warrant Officer Nicole Setwane on 0793919384 or call the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111. Alternatively members of the public can send information via MYSAPSAPP. All received information will be treated as confidential and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
