MPUMALANGA – Five suspects between the ages of 31 and 40 were arrested during a disruptive search and seizure operation executed by the Middelburg-based Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime Investigation, Middleburg K9, and Middleburg District team at Mhluzi area in the early hours of Thursday, 30 March 2023.
The information on drug dealing was received and operationalized. Houses were searched and heroin, dagga as well as cash were confiscated. The combined street value of the seized drugs is approximately R219 000.
The suspects will be charged and appear in the Middelburg Magistrates Court on Friday, 31 March 2023.
