DA sends condolences to family and friends of a former Mpumalanga MEC who passed away this week

The Democratic Alliance (DA) would like to send condolences to the family and friends of former provincial MEC of the Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport (PWRT), Dumisile Nhlengethwa, on her untimely death.
The late Nhlengethwa who served as Mpumalanga (PWRT) MEC from 2014 to 2016 under former Premier David Mabuza (current Deputy President), passed away on Monday 24 May at the age of 51.
The DA extends its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and comrades. We need to acknowledge the role played by the late MEC in fulfilling her civic responsibilities of serving the people of Mpumalanga, and South Africans in general, in both the Provincial Legislature and the National Assembly where she once served as Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs.
At her time of departure, Nhlengethwa was serving in the Gert Sibande District Municipality (GSDM) as a member of the Mayoral Committee leading the infrastructure and technical services portfolio.
May her soul rest in peace.
